Linda Sánchez

U.S. House, District 41

Vote by November 3

Why we’re supporting Linda

Linda Sánchez is the daughter of Mexican immigrants, a former labor attorney, and the first Latina to serve on the House Ways and Means Committee. She voted against the 2025 Trump tax law and wrote legislation to repeal Trump's tariffs.

Prop 50 turned Ken Calvert's old seat into a district centered on Downey and Whittier. When ICE raids hit Whittier, Sánchez stood with the families. Electing her flips a Republican seat.

Linda’s record

  • Voted no on the 2025 Trump tax law (H.R. 1) that cut Medicaid and food assistance.1
  • Introduced the Stopping a Rogue President on Trade Act (2025) to repeal Trump's tariffs and require Congress to approve new ones.2
  • Condemned ICE raids in Whittier and demanded answers on the detention of a U.S.-citizen constituent at a Walmart raid.3
  • Wrote the Affordable Care Act provision that stopped insurers charging women more than men for the same coverage.4

The choice

Mitch Clemmons
Oppose

Mitch Clemmons

  • Clemmons lists "election integrity" as his first priority and pledges to end "massive taxpayer-funded fraud flowing through certain NGOs."11
  • He lost his 2022 run for State Senate District 30 by 61%–39%.12

Where the race stands: Prop 50 turned this Ken Calvert-held seat into a solidly Democratic district; Cook and Inside Elections rate it Solid Democratic.11
