Why we’re supporting Randy

Randy Villegas is the son of Mexican immigrants, raised in Kern County. He is a community college professor and a Visalia Unified school board trustee, and he was the first in his family to earn a Ph.D.

David Valadao cast what became the decisive vote for Trump's 2025 megabill, cutting more than $1 trillion from Medicaid and other programs. About 64% of his own constituents are on Medi-Cal. The Central Valley deserves a congressman who will protect that care, not trade it away.

Randy’s record

  • Wants to ban members of Congress from trading stocks and becoming lobbyists, ban corporate PACs and overturn Citizens United.1
